One of the classic views of the Yosemite Valley is from the area of the tunnel overlook or, at a little greater elevation, Artist's Point. This was from early mid-morning on a fall day allowing the sun to flow over the Cathedral Rocks on the right to illuminate El Capitan. This painting is currently on loan to the United States Department of State through the "Art for the Embassies" program.
